I have to say I rarely give reviews on companies or services, but the experience I had with company was beyond words. This was my first time ever using or even needing a professional moving company, so I really had no idea of what to expect or even ask when it came to getting quotes and prices for my move. After submitting my request for a quote online, I received a call from a guy named Todd. He walked me through getting an inventory of items and what services I needed. After explaining A LOT of “moving jargon” and going over what to expect for my move, he provided me with a quote that wasn’t the cheapest, but not the most expensive of the other quotes I had already received. Honestly I chose this company because I could afford them, but most importantly because I felt like I was talking with someone who was very knowledgeable and informative, but also very friendly and patient with all the questions I had. The guys that moved me on move day were super attentive with my stuff and got all of my things moved out within a matter of 4 hours! I was really worried with it being my first move ever that I would end up with things broken or damaged, but after seeing how tightly packed that truck was, I had no worries whatsoever. When they delivered my things here, it was quick and painless and I didn’t have to lift a finger arranging furniture or putting things back together. They did it all for me! The crew even left a few moving blankets behind for me when I decided I wanted to leave some pieces of furniture wrapped up in the garage for the time being until I found a place to put them. They were super friendly and I couldn’t have asked for a better crew or experience. I would recommend them to anyone doing state to state moves for sure.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with they tell you they can deliver within 8 to 10 days but 30 days later you're still fighting to receive your belongings and when you do receive them don't be surprised at the amount of damage you will findonce they have your belongings they not only hold it hostage but you can never get ahold of anybody you can call repeatedly and leave a voicemail after voicemail but nobody ever calls you back it's not until I got a hold of a manager that my belongings were delivered 30 days after they were picked up oh and fragile means nothing it's kind of like the Christmas story when the father unpacks the lamp and says what does fragilie mean it means absolutely nothing because they treat your fragile items like your non fragile items and the boxes are crushed and if you have nothing broken then you're lucky. I like they were trying to avoid me at all costs just so they wouldn't have to deal with me find any moving company other than this one again they are the worst. I would give them minus five stars if I could oh yeah they will quote you a low price and then double the price when they pick up your belongings I was quoted 1,500 but paid $2,675 so they also lied to you as well.

We moved from Virginia to North Caroline and my husband choose Global Moving, LLC to be our movers. We gave a rough estimate over the phone of things we were moving and how many boxes etc we would need. (They packed us also.) They gave us a quote that was binding and we paid our deposit. We were moving in 8 days so we couldn’t back out without losing our 1900.00 deposit. So we were set. I then went online and read many reviews of them. Some were horrible and it scared me to death. They said things about them demanding more money, breaking things, stealing things, not delivering as promised etc. I was terrified. I asked my husband what had he gotten us into.

Well the packers and movers came on the day we asked them to. They sent 3 guys that had heavy accents but communication was never an issue. They were VERY respectful of us, our property and were conscientious of the job they were doing. When they were just about finished packing and loading it came time to sign the contract. We were informed we owed like 2000 or so more than estimated. I blew my fuse and demanded to know why and they must be wrong. The guy quietly explained how he had arrived at his figure. I then counted the boxes myself and he was right. I had underestimated our things. So yes they wanted more money but it was a legitimate thing.

We then part ways with the understanding that they would deliver our things in Charlotte NC on the day we indicated was the first date we could accept or within 7 to 14 days of that date. They delivered 2 days after the first date we could accept. The guys who brought our things to us were just as respectful and dedicated to doing a good job. The driver arrived 2 hours earlier than expected to make sure he could get the Semi truck into the parking lot and to the loading dock. No extra money other than what we had agreed on at the day of packing and loading was asked for. I received all of my items with none missing. What also surprised me was the fact they packed and moved many antique glass and china with nothing really being damaged or broken. Yeah there were a couple of things that had a chip but nothing major or costly.

These folks are great. I appreciate the job they did and highly recommend them. I believe the disgruntled folks are those looking for free services or something. Bottom line don’t be scared off by what you might read. These guys are inexpensive and deliver a service with integrity. Give them a chance. You won’t be sorry!!

Long-distance move from Middletown, OH to Carmel, IN

Don't use this company!

This company is not a professional moving company at all. They just moved me 2 weeks ago. They came at 12:30 for a whole house pack. They were still packing late into the evening. They left almost all of the drawers in my kitchen. They left all my laundry supplies. No masks were worn during move. They damaged my tempurpedic bed frame, so that I cannot attach the headboard any longer. Also damaged my Bova kitchen table with many scratches. I think three employees run the company! During the move, I worked with Ashley Green and Christie Strong, and Doug Philgren. Doug is extremely rude and unprofessional. Talking over me each time I called him about a problem. I have reached out for a claims report, and am still waiting with no response from Doug. I also am still trying to get the rest of the items left behind (including all my silverware). No response from Doug on this as well. Very unhappy with my choice to use these movers. DO NOT USE THEM. I was also charged much more than my estimate after having sent pictures of all items to be moved 2 days before. Still waiting for my claim form, and silverware......... I will be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau this week. They also were to make a stop at a storage facility as part of the move, because of the late start, I had to spend the next day at the storage facility with them loading those items into my unit. Two days to move 2.5 hours......

The best move ever! My wife Rita and I have moved a number of times and we can honestly award the mover as the best. They showed up on right time and immediately started their procedure. These guys worked at prompt pace. Global Moving never stopped until they were done. The most impressive was that they wrapped all of our belongings. Some items were really not necessary to be wrapped but they did because that was their working style. They were helpful & didn't grumble for the number of boxes we had. We really enjoyed the move. We had to change our delivery date at the last minute which I thought would be a big problem but after speaking to Iesha the customer service manager it was no big deal. She went out of her way to help us out. Thank you Iesha. You are a life saver. They used professional moving supplies. Moving truck was clean and brand new, basically they own trucks I think so, not rent from somebody. We would highly advise everyone to use them who want to get a nice moving experience. Nothing was broken or scratches, no missing items. No surprises about add fee or price (payed $3800 from NYC to NC Charlotte)
For sure want to recommend this guys.

Global moving made my move last month easy. From the time I received a call from one of the sales men (after putting in a online request for a quote), who walked me through the whole process. From Taking my inventory list, making sure we had everything on the list for an accurate estimate. I would have completely forgot everything in my garage which made a big difference. He explained how bulk fees applied to certain items like bbq grills, lawnmowers etc. which made me think twice about taking my old beat up bbq grill. I ended up selling it knowing how much money I saved by doing that was just one of the things Global Moving LLC helped me understand. I spoke to a few other companies (I like to shop around). Global Moving LLC, made me feel like I was the guys cousin or something, they truly care about the customer. He did his best to ensure that he saved me as much money as possible between explaining how the random little fees work (that all moving companies have, some just wait till they have your stuff then tell you and jack up your price) and giving me a link to a website of where to get cheap moving boxes even though Global Moving LLC sells boxes and they would have made more money. That right there shows that they really do try to the best of there abilities to save you every penny and still offer you a great service.

Hi everyone! My name is Kirk Wood. For $4500, from NC Charlotte to TX Houston this has been the best moving service I've ever used. The pickup was very prompt, and they even followed some specific instructions that I felt I needed to leave. My son was in school at the time and I still needed to tighten up some things with my old job before moving to a new one, so I wanted some boxes to be left alone. Just as I requested, those boxes weren't taken which I am quite grateful for. As for what was transported, the fragile items (especially my wife and daughters mirrors and things) weren't damaged in the slightest. Delivery was prompt and they arrived around the same time we did, as I wanted. Global Moving positive family business company with amazing experience. This has been spectacular service. They not change price from beginning, I would most certainly refer this Presidential moving services to a friend.

Was told my move would be worry free and stress free. Was definitely not worry or stress free. Movers were supposed to arrive between 9 and 11. They did not arrive until 3 pm to pack and load. Very disorganized, arguing amongst each other.
Requested packing since I was moving long distance. Was told that everything would be inventoried and labeled. I would not be disappointed. I would not have packing charge for anything I packed only the moving charge-this was a lie.
My belongings were tossed in boxes causing damage and breakage. Services were misrepresented and I was overcharged and they are not interested in refunding for the services that were mid represented.
Please beware of this company.
One star review is generous. They were the worst!

My move with Global is an ongoing disaster. My experience is almost identical to the reviewer named Christina. Movers showed up many hours late - supposed to arrive at 8:30. They showed up at noon with no excuse as to why they were late. They guaranteed they would be done by 9PM. They finished at 12:30 AM. The estimate were given was off by 60%!!. When I attempted to contact the company my complaint was shuffled off to a company caller Movingclaims.net. They jerked me around for 3 months and then told me that they don't handle customer service complaints. I have attempted to contact Global Moving and there has been NO response. This is the WORST move of the 4 moves we have done. My furniture is in storage waiting on the completion of our new home.

I have to say this was possibly the best moving experience I have had. I have moved myself on multiple occasions and this time I decided to try a moving company. I spoke with their representatives and they made me feel like I was apart of their family. The service they gave to me was very personalized and made me feel very confident in my choice to go with Global Moving. They were very honest and upfront, the guys came in and talked to me like I was a member of their family and handled my belongings with the upmost respect and care. They worked hard and were very efficient, I could not have asked for better. Everything was done within the time frame I had specified and they even allocated my boxes and furniture to their respective locations. If I had known hiring movers would have been this easy I would have done it a long time ago. Global Moving was very reasonably priced given all the services they provided for me. I would hire them to move again in a heartbeat, this company was worth it!! Thank you Global Moving for making things so much easier for me!!

We had moved a few times quite recently. So you would think we must have known the best movers. The truth is we only got the best services from one company, who we hired for our last move, which was Global Moving. My sister-in-law referred them to us who she had hired before. My wife called them and they gave us a very nice estimate. There was something about the way Global System communicated with me that made me trust in them instantly. Turns out, my instincts were right! The movers sent from the company were very capable and friendly. They packed up my whole apartment so fast. Not only were they fast, but they were thorough too. They finished the job so efficiently. Their efficiency ensured that I didn't have to pay a cent extra for this move. All my belongings were delivered safely and I just couldn't be more thankful to these guys. I highly recommend these guys.

The team from Global Moving LLC did an excellent job! We purchased packing and moving services and everything was very professionally done. From booking to packing boxes to packing the truck. Very professinal and helpfull staff.
Service of this level is not an expence, it is an investment.
My family was happy to meet with the cool guys from Russia. no stress, no confusion and misunderstanding. Only professionalism and a good sense of humor! Now I know who are the salty ears!

Global Moving llc company is quite professional when it comes to handling any claims of broken or damaged furniture. In my last move with them two months back my expensive custom dinning table's leg was accidentally broken. When I file a claim and followed the procedure they had given me, I was amazed at how fast they proceed the claim. Unlike most of the most companies I have dealt with before, Global Moving were constantly in touch and my full reimbursement came faster I expected!

I'm very pleased with the moving services that Global Moving company offered my family last week. They did both the packing and unpacking in the most professional way. I was mesmerized by the way they effortlessly packed and loaded by huge coaches on to their moving truck. The staff was courteous and friendly all most to a fault and they ensured that nothing was broken or damaged during the move. I actually caught myself humming my favorite tune all the way to our new house.

It was really a positive experience. They ensured that everything was moved carefully and they made quick work of it. I had a delicate piece of furniture that they managed to negotiate around tight spaces with care and confidence. They wrapped everything in cardboard, blankets and cellophane and there wasn’t one scratch on one single item or anywhere on my walls or doors. Our furniture was well protected. The Global Movers crew was very efficient and timely throughout the move. The price of the quote was also fair. Feel satisfy about the money spent with them. Thanks for being there.
